A 3.2-acre site with playground equipment, a pool, basketball court, tennis court, and sports fields. The four-room building has a gymnasium, public computing center, and multi-purpose spaces. Hydration station available. The site opened as "Sherwood Recreation Centre" in 1911. It was renamed in 1983 in honor of Albert W. Christy, Sr. Christy worked to reduce gang violence in the area in the 1970s. He also led a local youth group called "The Supreme Council of Cadets of America."
